We are seeking a high-caliber executive leader to join HMCL Niloy Bangladesh as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Reporting functionally to the CEO with matrix reporting to the Board and Group, you will serve as a strategic co-pilot to drive regional growth, manage complex supply chain finance, and optimize long-term profitability. Key Responsibilities • Partner directly with the CEO and Board on business growth strategy, mid-term planning, and capital allocation. • Oversee comprehensive financial forecasting, modeling, foreign exchange risk management, and zero-based budgeting. • Optimize working capital management, focusing on inventory, accounts receivable, payables, and OEM/supplier relationships. • Manage strategic relationships with domestic and international banks to secure competitive financial structures. • Ensure strict financial reporting compliance with NIIF (IFRS) standards, statutory audits, and local tax regulations. • Establish robust internal control frameworks to safeguard assets, improve operational precision, and mitigate risk. • Build high-performing finance teams through structured learning programs, mentorship, and key role succession planning. Qualifications & Experience • CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification required; bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics with an MBA preferred. • Direct exposure to the Bangladesh market with strong knowledge of local tax laws, regional banking frameworks, and IFRS compliance. • 18+ years of progressive financial management experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity (CFO, VP of Finance, or Controller). • Proven track record in automotive or manufacturing industries covering import, distribution, or dealership operations. • Advanced hands-on proficiency with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. • Demonstrated expertise in high-stakes decision-making, foreign exchange hedging, and joint venture stakeholder management.
