Responsible for supporting the execution of scheduled food safety audits and hygiene inspections across assigned sites within a city cluster, under the guidance of the Food Safety Manager. The role includes documenting checklist-based findings, coordinating with site teams to ensure timely closure of routine non-compliances & escalating critical issues for appropriate governance action. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Internal Audits • Conduct scheduled food safety audits and hygiene inspections across assigned sites within the city cluster. • Perform assessments using the standardized internal food safety audit checklist. • Assess site-level hygiene, storage conditions, temperature controls, pest management & food handling practices. • Capture objective evidence, photographs & observations during site visits. • Identify and report risk-rated observations, including Critical, High, Medium, & Low findings to the reporting manager. • Submit visit and audit reports within the defined turnaround time. Regulatory Readiness • Support site-readiness assessments in advance of external food safety audits. • Verify the display and validity of site-level licenses and permits. • Report regulatory gaps to the Food Safety Manager for corrective action. • Assist site teams during regulatory inspections, as required. Non-Compliance (NC) Management • Log audit findings in the NC tracking system. • Coordinate with relevant departments to understand and document root causes. • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) assigned to sites. • Monitor progress and remind sites of agreed closure timelines. • Review basic closure evidence before marking non-compliances as complete. • Escalate overdue or repeated NCs to the reporting manager. Governance & Reporting • Update weekly compliance trackers for the assigned cluster. • Report audit scores and recurring observations to the reporting manager. • Escalate recurring site-level issues for management attention. • Provide data and supporting input to the manager for leadership reviews.
