Civil & Structural Design Engineer

Job description

Role & responsibilities: • Design & Engineering: Prepare structural and civil design calculations, drawings, and 3D models for foundations, steel structures, and concrete works. • Code Compliance: Follow local and international design codes like IS, ACI, AISC, and Eurocodes. • Material Estimation: Generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs to help procurement teams buy supplies. • Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and piping teams to resolve layout clashes. • Vendor & Site Support: Review vendor drawings and solve technical problems during construction at the job site. Preferred candidate profile • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Experience: 3 to 10+ years working on industrial, oil and gas, or infrastructure EPC projects. • Software Skills: Proficiency in design tools like STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla Structures, and AutoCAD. • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and clear communication.
