**JOB DESCRIPTION** **JOB TITLE** Head - Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture **GRADE**VP **DEPARTMENT**IT **LOCATION**HO(Bengaluru) **TYPE OF POSITION**Full-time **ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE** Leads infrastructure and cloud architecture strategy covering hybrid cloud environments, on-premises data centers, network architecture, and infrastructure modernization. Responsible for cloud migration roadmap, infrastructure as code, and ensuring infrastructure supports business continuity and regulatory compliance. **KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE** - Define infrastructure and cloud architecture strategy - Lead cloud migration roadmap (Azure/AWS/multi-cloud) - Design hybrid infrastructure architecture balancing on-prem and cloud - Establish infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform, ARM templates - Own network architecture - WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, branch connectivity, security - Design disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) with RTO/RPO targets - Define compute, network, storage, database infrastructure standards and capacity planning. - Drive DevOps, CI/CD infrastructure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) - Ensure infrastructure design is compliant with RBI guidelines, ISO 27001 etc. - Lead infrastructure architects, collaborate with application,security and Infrastructure operations teams **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS** **Educational** **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Post-graduate qualification is preferred. **Experience** - 15-18 years in IT Infrastructure, 8-10 years in Cloud/Infra Architecture **Certifications** - TOGAF 9.2 certification mandatory - Cloud: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect Professional - VMware or Kubernetes certifications preferred **Functional Skills** - Deep expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) - IaaS, PaaS, serverless - Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V), containers - Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates) - Networking expertise (TCP/IP, routing, switching, load balancing, SD-WAN) - Storage and database infrastructure (SAN, NAS, distributed storage, clustering) - Disaster recovery and high availability architectures - DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub CI/CD, monitoring Tools) - Banking infrastructure requirements (core banking hosting, payment systems) **Behavioral Skills** - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Planning & Organizing - Leadership skills - Strong communication skills - Team work - Negotiation skills **Competencies** - Initiative - Problem-solving ability. - Evaluate options & priorities. - Analytical thinking - Compliance and governance
