Job description

Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement HMI applications for turbine control retrofit projects using a variety of HMI applications software packages. • Install software on Windows based HMI computers. • Provide technical support to software engineer in meeting customer needs on HMI applications. • Design, implement and support communication networks for HMI applications. • Provide technical support to customers over the phone and at customer locations when required. • Provide technical support and feedback to Marketing and Sales teams on HMI software, hardware and networking issues. • Assist with the development and improvement of processes and tools to help reduce cycle time on HMI projects. • Strong computer skills in setting up Windows based applications including Windows XP, 7, Windows Server a plus. • Troubleshooting skills including hardware, software, and networking. • Ability and willingness to travel when required. • Good oral and written communication skills • Motivated team player and self-starter, results oriented. • Basic understanding of turbine control applications. Desired Skills: • Bachelor in Engineering - Instrumentation, Electronics & Telecommunication, Cybersecurity or equivalent with 5+ years of experience • Strong background in HMI application software including Proficy iFix, Cimplicity, Historian based products. • Experience in Power Industry or in Oil&Gas.
