## **Job Description - Grade Specific** Capgemini is hiring a Core Banking Enterprise Architect to lead and deliver large-scale banking transformation programmes. This is a hands-on architecture leadership role, requiring deep expertise in core banking package platforms and proven experience delivering transformations either client-side within banks, or within leading system integrators such as Accenture, Infosys, TCS, or Cognizant. The role combines architecture ownership, programme delivery, and client advisory, with a strong bias toward execution and implementation. ## **Ideal Candidate** - Key Responsibilities - Hands-On Architecture & Delivery - Lead end-to-end architecture design and delivery for core banking transformation programmes - Act as responsible architect across full lifecycle: design, build oversight, integration, migration - Define target state and transition architectures - Ensure architecture aligns with delivery execution - Core Banking Package Expertise - Provide expertise in Temenos, Finastra, Thought Machine, or Avaloq - Lead solution design and customization strategy - Promote out-of-the-box usage and manage technical debt - Integration & Modern Architecture - Drive API-led, microservices, and event-driven architecture - Integrate core banking with payments, digital and data platforms - Programme & Stakeholder Leadership - Lead architecture across large transformation programmes - Engage with CIO, CTO, and programme leadership - Guide global delivery teams - Client Advisory - Translate business needs into executable architecture - Advise on modernization strategies and delivery risks - Hands-on enterprise architect with delivery experience - Experience client-side or with leading SIs (Accenture, Infosys, TCS, etc.) - Core Banking Expertise - Experience with at least one major platform (Temenos, Finastra, Avaloq, Thought Machine) - Exposure to implementation, integration, and migration - Domain Knowledge - Retail, Corporate Banking, Payments, Lending - Experience in regulated environments - TOGAF or equivalent - Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) - APIs, microservices, data architecture - Strong technical credibility - Stakeholder management - Delivery-focused problem solving - Leadership in global banking transformations - Exposure to tier-1 banking clients - Career path to practice leadership - Delivery-focused architect - Strong bridge between architecture and execution - Proven transformation track record
