Costing and Estimation Engineer

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Quantity takes off from approved drawings. • Rate analysis and first principal costing of civil, interior, faade, External development packages. • Develop and submit the variance report on BOQ quantities corresponding to GFC and Tender quantity. • Proper record keeping & tracking of work certified for each Work Order/package. • Reconciliation of ITC supplied material, if any. • Checking and certifying bills submitted by the contractor in line with Contract Terms & Conditions. Quantity to be certified as per relevant IS code or Standard industry practice. • Generation of area wise quantity certification report as directed by the Project Team. Other Quantity Certification Related Tasks/Reports as directed by the Project Team Preferred candidate profile • BE/ B tech in Civil Engineering • 8-12 Years of experience in Quantity Surveying for Civil, Structural & Finishing/Interior Packages for Residential, Warehouse, commercial & Industrial Project • Knowledge of Cost X/ Plan swift / quantity take off tool will be preferable. • Good Knowledge of IS codes for quantity certification. • Good knowledge of market rates and rate analysis of civil, interior, faade, External development packages. • Good understanding of Cost Estimation & Quantity Surveying techniques. • Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Auto Cad. • Sound knowledge in Civil Engineering
