Job description

Role & responsibilities : 1. To independently conduct safety checks of the Equipment w.r.t. guards and interlocks 2. To maintain and monitor records of the checks performed 3. To be able to prepare reports using EXCEL, WORD and make PowerPoint presentations w.r.t the EHS processes. 4. To ensure Audit trails for the scope of work and maintain evidence. Preferred candidate profile : Qualifications : Graduate in Safety, Environment science. Knowledge of basic Electrical/Mechanical installations in a factory / Industrial safety Diploma Work Experience : 1. To conduct safety checks as per prescribed checklists in electrical and mechanical safety 2. To maintain records of checks conducted and ensure proper documentation 3. To have a basic understanding of safety standards (national / international). 4. To be conversant with Risk assessment, Hazard spotting, Work permit system. 5. Prior experience as EHS executive in plants / Factories 6. Exposed to laboratory safety practices Skills : 1. Prepare checklists in line with the EHS requirement 2. Knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL, MS WORD and PowerPoint 3. Performed Safety audits 4. Exposure to Safety audits 5. Exposure to process audits Knowledge : Knowledge of Safety standards, Basic aspects of Machine Safety, Waste management, Risk assessment and Hazard spotting.
