Role & responsibilities GCP Data Engineer Experience: 3 to 5 Years Location: Pune (Hybrid Mode) Job Description: Coforge is looking for a skilled GCP Data Engineer with hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. The candidate should have strong expertise in cloud-based data engineering, ETL development, and big data technologies. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP. • Build ETL/ELT solutions using cloud-native services. • Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting. • Integrate data from multiple sources into cloud data warehouses. • Monitor data quality, performance, and reliability. • Work closely with Business Analysts, Data Architects, and Data Scientists. Required Skills: • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Airflow). • Experience in Python and SQL. • Knowledge of ETL/ELT development and data warehousing concepts. • Experience with Apache Beam, Spark, or similar big data technologies. • Understanding of data modeling and database design. • Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
