Job description

**Role:** **Assistant** **Manager** **Data Security and Governance** **Location:** **AGC India (Bangalore)** The primary purpose of this role is safeguarding the organization data assets by designing and operationalizing a robust data security framework. This role will drive enterprise-wide initiatives across data loss prevention, classification, sensitivity labelling, and governance. - Design, develop, and continuously mature the enterprise data security framework aligned with UAE regulatory standards (NESA, ADHICS, UAE PDPL) and global frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST). - Serve as the subject matter expert for DLP projects including Information Protection, Data Lifecycle Management, and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM). - Configure and manage sensitivity labels, trainable classifiers, and adaptive protection policies across the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem. - Govern and fine-tune DLP policies across endpoints, email, cloud apps, and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Conduct policy simulations, reduce false positives, investigate DLP incidents, and integrate alerts with SIEM/SOAR platforms. - Ensure compliance with UAE data protection regulations and support audit, eDiscovery, and records management requirements. **Requirements:** - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field. Candidate with 5 to 6 years of professional experience collectively on implementing data governance frameworks and handling enterprise-wide data security platforms. - Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, Azure Information Protection, DLP platforms (such as Trellix, Netskope, Zscaler). - Strong analytical skills for monitoring and analysing DLP alerts and incidents, familiarity with UAE/GCC regulatory landscape. - Certifications desirable but not mandatory: CISSP, CISM.
