Position Deputy Manager - Electrical **Grade - L2** Business Unit / Function Function : Engineering Services Location Nira Reports to Head - Engineering Summary of Job (Purpose/ objective of the job Department organogram to be enclosed) - To ensure smooth functioning of electrical installations through effective and efficient maintenance management of Power Generation, transmission, distribution System. **Key Responsibilities** (Performance Indicators) - Maximum availability and reliability of electrical system for process Operation and Control with desired safety of Man, Machine and Environment.(Increase MTBF and reduce MTTR ) - Responsible for erection and commissioning of all electrical installations and review of electrical design documents of various projects at the unit. - Time bound implementation of new / modification projects and key Initiatives like Six Sigma, WCM, Resource conservation, and Safety Capacity Building. - Effective supervision of operation of DG sets, transformer, HT and LT Substation and air conditioning system. - Planning of preventive maintenance of all the electrical installations. - Optimization of Departmental Inventory, budgetary planning and reduce the R and M cost. - Development of In-house resources and skill to reduce dependability on OEM. - Liaison with UPSEB and related agencies for legal and statutory compliance. - Compliance to ISO / OHSAS 18001 requirements. - Foreseeing probable threats and proactive actions related to various electrical installations. No. of Reportees 2-4 **Qualification and Experience** - B.E / B.Tech - Electrical with 10-12 years of experience in the electrical maintenance of large industrial complex.
