Job Summary This job entails writing and maintaining clean, efficient code for various software components while following development best practices. It supports the design and innovation of new applications that align with business goals. It involves implementing testing frameworks to validate software, documenting development processes for knowledge transfer, and analyzing integration needs. Responsibilities also include collaborating with Quality Assurance to meet technical standards, and troubleshooting to improve performance and user satisfaction. Job Description Technical Skills Must Have • Strong hands-on experience in Java / Kotlin for building scalable, enterprise-grade applications • Experience with Spring Frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security for backend service development • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding practices • Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs and backend services • Good understanding of non-relational database concepts, MongoDB, and data modeling • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging distributed applications • Experience with Git and version control systems Good to Have • Experience with React.js or Angular for building modern web applications • Exposure to TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind CSS • Knowledge of frontend state management and component-based architecture • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows • Understanding of performance optimization and accessibility best practices Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and integration layers using relevant Spring Frameworks • Collaborate with product managers, designers, frontend engineers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following engineering best practices • Integrate backend services with web front ends built using React or Angular where applicable • Participate in technical design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning • Identify and resolve application issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks • Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and automation-friendly design • Contribute to engineering best practices, coding standards, and process improvements • Support CI/CD integration and automated deployments Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field • 3&#43; years of experience in software application development • Strong hands-on experience with Java or Kotlin and Spring Frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security • Good understanding of REST API design, backend integration, and asynchronous processing • Experience with non-relational databases, MongoDB, and document-based data access pattern • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed application design • Exposure to React.js or Angular front-end development is a plus • Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment • Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and application performance We believe that benefits should connect you to the support you need when it matters most, and should help you care for those who matter most.
