Cloud Engineer (GCP, DevOps, Terraform) Years of Experience: 5-8 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps practices, and Terraform. The ideal candidate will have approximately 7 years of experience in cloud engineering, demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that meet our business needs. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes. • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of services. • Implement security best practices and compliance measures for cloud environments. • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders. • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements. Mandatory Skills: • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a deal breaker. • Strong proficiency in DevOps methodologies and practices. • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation. • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes. • Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus). • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks. • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Relevant certifications in GCP, DevOps, or Terraform are highly desirable. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
