Cloud Engineer (GCP, DevOps, Terraform) **Years of Experience:** 5-8 Years **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps practices, and Terraform. The ideal candidate will have approximately 7 years of experience in cloud engineering, demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that meet our business needs. **Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning. - Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes. - Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of services. - Implement security best practices and compliance measures for cloud environments. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders. - Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements. **Mandatory Skills:** - Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a deal breaker. - Strong proficiency in DevOps methodologies and practices. - Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation. - Experience with CI/CD tools and processes. - Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. **Preferred Skills:** - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus). - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks. - Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in GCP, DevOps, or Terraform are highly desirable. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
