**About the Role** We are looking for a mid-level .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. You will work with .NET Core and relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) to deliver robust, high-performance applications, collaborating closely with frontend engineers, QA, and product teams. Experience with Next.js is a plus, as you may occasionally contribute to frontend features. **Required Skills Qualifications** - 3 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development with C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core. - Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (Web API); familiarity with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth2, ASP.NET Identity). - Solid working knowledge of at least one relational database PostgreSQL or SQL Server including schema design, indexing, stored procedures/functions, and query optimization. - Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework Core (or Dapper), including migrations. - Good understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and common design patterns. - Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows (pull requests, code reviews). - Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (xUnit / NUnit / MSTest). - Understanding of asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and middleware in .NET. - Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. - Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core (C#). - Design efficient database schemas, write optimized queries, and manage data using PostgreSQL or SQL Server. - Implement business logic with clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and standard design patterns. - Use Entity Framework Core (or Dapper) for data access, including migrations and performance tuning. - Write unit and integration tests (xUnit / NUnit) and participate in code reviews to uphold code quality. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, including query optimization and caching strategies. - Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts and integrate services with web applications. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to estimation and technical design discussions. - Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments; contribute to documentation of services and processes.
