Dy Manager/ Manager - Scope 3 (Supply Chain Decarbonization)

Job description

Role & responsibilities Scope 3 Measurement • Own inventory across 15 categories (focus: Purchased Goods, Capital Goods, Upstream & Downstream Transport) • Deploy supplier surveys for primary energy/fuel data • Use spend-based & activity-based emission factors (GHG Protocol, India grid) • Establish baseline & support to meet RE targets Supplier Decarbonization • Integrate carbon criteria into supplier selection & QCDD reviews • Co-create roadmaps with top 20-30 suppliers • Train suppliers on GHG accounting & renewable energy OEM Compliance & Reporting • Meet OEM mandates (MSIL, Tata, Mahindra, VW, Toyota etc.) • Lead Scope 3 sections for BRSR, annual sustainability report • Support third-party assurance Qualifications & Experience • Education: B.E./ B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental) • Experience: 4-8 years in Sustainability in automotive industry • Must have: Hands-on Scope 3 accounting (Purchased Goods) using Excel/LCA tools (SimaProetc.)
