**Role : Electrical Engineer** **Designation: Asst Manager (Electrical)** **Location:** **Gurugram** **Role Summary:** 1. The Engineering Manager (Electrical) is responsible to oversee and carry out the tasks related to Electrical part of the Project. 2. He/She shall work on but not limited to the following assignments: Performance Evaluation of existing operational Solar PV Plants. Design & Engineering of existing operational Solar PV Plants. Design & Engineering review of RE Projects. 1. Co-ordinate with relevant cross-functional stakeholders, consultants etc. **Job Responsibilities:** **Following responsibilities are applicable to New Projects as well as operational plants.** 1. Preparation / Review of Project SLDs in Auto CAD, along with all relevant Drawings, calculation up to MV Level. 2. Independent review of solar PV design, drawings and Engineering calculations. 3. Plant repowering Assessment - generation gain analysis for the suitability of the capacity addition along with the requirement of additional Electrical Infrastructure. 4. Audit of site sensors and recorded data for the reliability of data and performance monitoring. 5. Conduct site visits for carrying out RCAs for key components for operational plants in co-ordination with the OEMs and on-site engineers. 6. Support E&P team with review of Detailed Engg. Deliverables including engagement with Owners Engineer, EPC Contractor and OEMs. 7. Preparation of Technical Reports e.g. Design Basis Report, Detailed Project Report etc. 8. To ensure technical deliverables are issued in line with the project schedule. 9. Develop methods for effective design reviews of plants to meet the expected quality of the Deliverables. 10. OEM / Vendor finalization- Provide inputs to the Asset Management team / SCM team for finalising the technical scope of works as per the requirement. 11. Attend and lead technical discussions with contractors / vendors etc. 12. Carry out Pre-Bid Engineering activities including basic engineering, Design Philosophy, SLD , Layout etc. **Critical Knowledge & Skills Required:** 1. Candidate should have Proficiency in PVsyst for Utility connected plants. 2. Candidate should have experience with simulations for tilt, pitch, tracker, and fixed analysis. 3. Candidate should be expert in Excel. 4. Candidate should have knowledge of System design up to 33kV MV level, Inverters, Transformers, MV panels, grid studies etc. 5. Candidate should have Strong understanding of DC/AC system design, optimized array layout engineering, string sizing etc 6. Operational plant engineering, Testing, conducting RCAs. 7. Plant performance evaluation. 8. Candidate should have familiarity with Indian and international engineering standards and Grid Codes. Proficient knowledge of engineering economics, optimization processes & decision-making techniques like Cost-benefit analysis etc. **Desired Experience & Qualifications:** 1. Candidate should have min 7 years of overall experience, 5 years in similar role with an IPP. 2. B.Tech / B.E (Electrical) is must, M Tech. in Power System will be an added advantage.
