Role Description The English K12 Teacher at Filo is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with K12 curricula, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting classroom sessions, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves supporting students’ individual learning needs, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching practices and academic outcomes. The teacher may contribute to curriculum development, exam preparation, and academic enrichment initiatives. Qualifications • Strong subject-matter expertise in English Teaching and Education for K12 learners. • Proficiency in Teaching and Lesson Planning, including designing structured, age-appropriate learning activities. • Excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, feedback, and collaboration with students, families, and colleagues. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is preferred. • Experience teaching school-age learners, with an understanding of K12 curricula, assessment methods, and classroom management. • Ability to create inclusive, student-centered learning environments and adapt instruction for diverse learning styles. • Comfort with educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and student engagement. • Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to continuous professional growth and ethical teaching practices.
