FATP Equipment Engineering Professional Kolar Summary We are looking for an experienced FATP (Final Assembly, Test, and Pack) Equipment Engineering Professional to support the development, installation, optimization, and maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment. The role involves working with assembly and testing systems, robotics, machine automation, inspection technologies, and production line improvements to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should be capable of troubleshooting equipment issues, improving machine performance, reducing cycle times, and supporting new product introductions in a fast-paced production environment. Desired Skills • Hands-on experience with automation assembly and testing equipment, including FATP production lines and machine integration. • Strong knowledge of dispensing machines, ultrasonic welding, laser marking systems, servo presses, and plasma treatment technologies. • Experience in robotic assembly systems, robot programming, conveyor automation, palletizing systems, and automated material handling solutions. • Understanding of leak testing methods, calibration processes, functional testing, and weighing technologies to ensure product quality and compliance. • Ability to perform takt time and cycle time analysis, identify bottlenecks, and drive productivity and efficiency improvements. • Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, machine parameter analysis, line readiness activities, and LBU (Line Build-Up) support. • Knowledge of vision inspection systems, barcode scanners, RFID technologies, and traceability solutions used in manufacturing environments. • Familiarity with automated packing technologies, equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
