It will include Accounting, Reporting and Analytics of Trade expenses in conjunction with colleagues across regions and timezones. **Position Specifications:** Corporate Title **Associate** Functional Title **Manager** Experience **6 - 8 years** Qualification **Chartered Accountant** Requisition No. **Role & Responsibilities:** - Deep dive of Trade cost through preparation of monthly cost reporting packs for senior Management highlighting key expense areas for effective decision making, analysing variances of monthly expenses with KPIs like budget, Revenue & Balance sheet and substantiation of expenses reflecting in Balance sheet - Actively engage with Business Managers and Regional Controllers in firm wide cost reduction initiatives - Build month end accrual calculation and allocation of trade costs i.e. Exchange, Clearance, Brokerage, Central Security Depository fees etc. - Dealing with ad hoc queries from a number of different sources – business managers, Traders, senior management and regional controllers. - Continuous monitoring ledger, review and tracking of expenses and analysing with actual invoices. Improve costs allocation methodology to the front office using correct source of volume data. - Model various cost saves scenarios based on effective Trade data interpretation. - Ensure internal / external audit compliance. Ensure all Control & Governance models for Trade expense accounting are adhered to. **Mind Set:** **Mandatory** **Desired** **Domain** Strong Accounting and Analytical Skills. Should have exposure to IFRS / GAAP accounting of Financial instruments. Problem solver and ability to work independently. Financial services industry exposure / good working knowledge of Capital Market Products Understanding of different financial instruments & their accounting treatments Proficiency in data interpretation and analysis **Technical** Excel & use of Digital tools skills and ability to learn Finance specific systems.
