Financial Analyst - Real Estate

Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly proactive Finance Analyst to manage financial closures of real estate sites, with a strong focus on Full & Final (F&F) reconciliation, settlement of accounts, data management and cross-functional coordination. The role will require the candidate to work closely with the Legal, Real Estate, Business, Tax and Finance teams to ensure that all financial obligations arising from lease termination/closure are accurately reconciled and closed within defined timelines. Key Responsibilities • Own and drive the Full & Final (F&F) reconciliation for terminated/relocated sites from initiation to closure. • Reconcile rent, security deposits, maintenance, utilities, penalties, deductions, repairs/wear & tear and other financial claims. • Coordinate and follow up aggressively with Legal, Real Estate, Tax, Accounts Payable, Business and other cross-functional teams to resolve pending items. • Work closely with the Legal team on agreement closures, particularly on the financial aspects of termination, settlement and recovery/refund of amounts. • Review settlement statements and validate the financial impact of contractual obligations. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date F&F trackers, reconciliation statements and site-wise financial data. • Ensure timely follow-up on security deposit refunds, outstanding payments and recoveries. • Identify discrepancies between contractual terms, Finance records and landlord claims and drive them to resolution. • Prepare regular MIS, ageing reports and closure status reports for management. • Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all financial settlements and closures. • Track pending closures and escalate ageing/high-value matters to the relevant stakeholders. • Ensure that financial closures are completed within agreed SLA/TAT and with minimal outstanding exposure. Key Skills & Competencies • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills. • Excellent command of Excel/Google Sheets and ability to manage large datasets. • Strong follow-up and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work under tight timelines and closure pressure. • High attention to detail and ownership of assigned closures. • Ability to understand and interpret basic commercial/contractual terms. • Strong communication and coordination skills. • Ability to identify financial discrepancies and independently drive resolution. • Experience in real estate finance, lease accounting, F&F settlements or accounts reconciliation will be an advantage. Key Success Metrics • Timely completion of F&F reconciliations. • Reduction in ageing/pending site closures. • Accuracy of settlement calculations and trackers. • Timely recovery of security deposits and outstanding amounts. • Effective coordination with Legal and cross-functional teams. • Zero/low financial discrepancies in closed sites. • Complete and accurate documentation for every closure. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be someone who is hands-on, persistent and comfortable with follow-ups and pressure-driven closure timelines. The role requires a person who can independently manage multiple site closures, maintain strong data discipline and work closely with Legal and other stakeholders to ensure that every site is financially reconciled and formally closed.
