Purpose Of The Position For AIP technology absorption, STW & FATs operations of AIP-EM Areas Of Exposure/ Work Background Project Management, Execution & Technical Knowledge about Marine Systems / Chemical Plant operations & trouble shooting; Selection, testing and commissioning of various process Plant system, Knowledge of Hydraulics, Thorough understanding of P&ID diagrams, Working experience of Control System etc. Job Duties/Responsibilities Primary: Absorbing AIP technology as part of TOT from NMRL. Getting associated during AIP STW & FATs operations of AIP-EM Secondary To understand, innovate and Implement ideas for process improvement/plant operation. Problem solving during plant operations Thorough understanding of Chemical Engineering fundamentals: Reaction Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics, process & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), Equipment (Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Separators) Understanding of Line size Calculation, Hydraulic calculation and pump NPSH calculation Knowledge of sensors like temperature, pressure, flow and level etc Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations Develop broad process engineering competencies to provide future engineering capacity with process group Knowledge of Process Plant Control and understanding of control philosophy Communication & Coordination with customer for project related activities Co-ordination with design, purchase, QC & shop for project activities Effective interface with Customer, Development Partners & suppliers Hands-on in ERP LN, PLM, MS Project Behavioural Competencies Good Communication skills, Interpersonal Skills, To be able to handle Defence customers, Problem Solving & Creativity
