Role & responsibilities Job Description: Senior GCP DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer Experience: 8+ Years Role: Senior GCP DevOps Engineer Location: Bangalore / Pune/Chennai/Kolkata/Hyderabad/Gurgoan Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Senior GCP DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer with 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Terraform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments. Mandatory Skills • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering. • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). • Expertise in GCP services: • Cloud Run • Cloud Spanner • Pub/Sub • VPC • IAM • Secret Manager • Hands-on experience with Cloud Build CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation. • Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM policies, and governance. • Experience managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and deployments. Secondary Skills • Python scripting for infrastructure automation and operational tooling. • Experience provisioning and managing: • Dataflow • Google Cloud Storage (GCS) • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and cloud operational best practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform. • Develop reusable Terraform modules and enforce IaC best practices. • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build. • Manage GCP networking, IAM, Secret Manager, and security controls. • Automate infrastructure provisioning and cloud operations using Python. • Collaborate with development, security, and platform teams for cloud-native deployments. • Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, performance optimization, and cost management. • Drive cloud governance, security compliance, and operational excellence. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture and design discussions. Required Qualifications • Strong experience in GCP infrastructure and DevOps practices. • Expertise in Terraform-based infrastructure automation. • Experience supporting mission-critical production environments. • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives. Nice to Have • GCP Certifications (Professional Cloud Architect / DevOps Engineer). • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Knowledge of SRE practices and observability tools. • Experience with cloud migration and modernization programs. Must Have: Terraform, GCP (Cloud Run, Spanner, Pub/Sub, VPC, IAM, Secret Manager), Cloud Build CI/CD, Infrastructure Automation Good to Have: Python, Dataflow, GCS, Cloud Security, GCP Certifications, Kubernetes, Docker.
