## **Summary** We are looking for a **Group Privacy Lead** to support the day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of Hexagon’s Data Protection Programme across the Group and Ventures. Reporting directly to the **Group Privacy Officer**, you will oversee the operational execution of the privacy programme, ensuring consistent delivery of privacy processes, governance activities and compliance obligations across a complex, global organisation. This role acts as the central coordination point between Group functions, Legal, Security and Divisional Privacy Officers, while also serving as the **Privacy Lead for the Ventures business unit**, supporting both business and product initiatives. This is an **individual contributor** position rather than a people-management role. It is ideal for someone with hands-on privacy experience who enjoys taking ownership of operational activities, working independently in a remote environment, and building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. ## **Job Responsibilities** - Oversee the day-to-day execution of the Group and Ventures Data Protection Programme. - Manage the privacy inbox and coordinate incoming privacy-related requests. - Coordinate and manage Data Subject Requests (DSRs), ensuring timely and consistent responses. - Oversee and support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), data mapping activities and privacy assessments. - Administer and continuously improve privacy systems and tooling, including OneTrust or equivalent platforms. - Manage changes and enhancements to the processes and systems used to deliver Hexagon’s privacy commitments. - Support the preparation and review of Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and Data Transfer Agreements (DTAs) for Group-level processing activities. - Maintain privacy governance documentation, including policies, procedures, organisational charts and guidance materials. - Coordinate and support Divisional Privacy Officers to promote a consistent approach across the organisation. - Act as Privacy Lead for the Ventures business unit, supporting business initiatives and new products from a privacy perspective. - Monitor developments in privacy legislation and regulatory guidance, recommending and implementing programme improvements. - Work independently to organise priorities and deliver progress against agreed objectives. ## ## **Qualifications** - Approximately **3–6 years’ experience** in privacy, data protection or compliance roles (typically a second role within the privacy profession, although candidates with different career paths will also be considered). - Strong practical knowledge of **GDPR** and experience operating within a GDPR-regulated environment. - Hands-on experience managing Data Subject Requests, DPIAs and data mapping exercises. - Experience using **OneTrust** or a similar privacy management platform is strongly preferred. - Experience supporting DPAs, data transfer agreements and broader privacy governance activities would be advantageous. - Understanding of global privacy regulations beyond the UK and EU is desirable but not essential. - Ability to work effectively across a global, federated organisation with multiple stakeholders. - Excellent organisational skills with the ability to balance recurring operational work alongside continuous improvement initiatives. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Relevant privacy certifications such as **CIPP, CIPM or CDPSE** are desirable but not essential. - Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. **What to expect:** You will join a global technology organisation operating across a broad range of innovative industries and product areas. The scale and complexity of Hexagon will provide exposure to diverse privacy challenges, international stakeholders and strategic initiatives across both the Group and Ventures. You will receive a structured onboarding and handover from the colleague currently supporting these activities, together with ongoing guidance from the Group Privacy Officer. You will work closely with Divisional Privacy Officers, Legal, Security and business stakeholders, gaining broad visibility across Hexagon’s global privacy community. While the role is expected to remain an individual contributor position in the near term, it offers significant opportunities to broaden your expertise and contribute to the continued evolution of Hexagon’s global privacy programme. #LI-MI1
