Job description

Role & responsibilities • Maternal & Obstetric Care: Provide comprehensive prenatal, natal, and postnatal care; manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies. • Surgical Procedures: Perform routine and emergency gynaecological surgeries and minor procedures independently. • OPD Consultations: Diagnose and treat a variety of gynaecological disorders, reproductive health issues, and family planning needs. • Patient Advocacy: Provide empathetic counselling regarding women's reproductive health and hygiene in the local community. • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor mid-level healthcare providers, midwives, and nursing teams in the labor room and wards Preferred candidate profile • Education: MS or MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from a recognized institute. • Gender: Female candidates only. • Experience: 5 years of post-qualification experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. • Age: Less than 45 years. • Location Comfort: Must be comfortable living and working in a remote, high-altitude location (Sholtu, Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh).
