Job description

Key Responsibilities • Review P&IDs and 3D scans for discrepancies and markup required changes • Review and revise P&ID designs based on redline markups • Create plot plans from 3D scans with correct representation of equipment, piping, valves, and fittings • Assign tags for all equipment, instruments, and piping • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements • Identify and document ambiguities in a structured way and communicate them to relevant stakeholders • Guide team members on technical clarifications and issues • Participate in project meetings and provide technical input where required Work Experience Required Skills & Experience • 14 years of experience in AutoCAD 2D drafting (P&ID, PFD, GAs, etc.) • Familiarity with applicable national and international codes (ASME, ASTM, EURO, CSA, AS, etc.) • Ability to work effectively in diverse teams • Adaptability to new tools and technologies • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Qualifications • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or related field • Proven experience as a Piping Engineer or similar role • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Plant 3D software • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
