We are driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and an ownership mindset. **Job Summary** This is a senior regional HR leadership role, reporting to the VP HR EMEIA, with accountability for HR compliance, governance and operational effectiveness across the Middle East, India and Africa region. The role holder will act as the regional guardian for HR policy, employee relations, labour law compliance, HR risk management and governance standards, ensuring local HR teams operate consistently within Ingersoll Rand policy, corporate requirements and applicable country legislation. Working closely with country HR leaders, HR Business Partners, COEs and business leadership, this role will provide practical guidance, drive disciplined execution of HR processes, and lead regional HR projects that strengthen compliance, governance and employee experience across MEIA. **Responsibilities** - Lead and develop the HR operational team across the Middle East, India and Africa, ensuring clear priorities, consistent standards and strong regional execution. - Own and maintain regional HR governance standards, policies and procedures across a comprehensive range of HR activities, ensuring alignment with EMEIA and corporate direction as well as local country legislation. - Provide expert guidance and oversight to local HR leaders on complex employee relations, compliance and governance matters, including employment legislation, discipline and grievance, redundancy/RIF activity, remuneration trends, internal equity, engagement, DE&I and workforce planning. - Partner with outside counsel and local HR teams to interpret labour and employment law requirements, translate changes into practical HR processes, and train HR teams to apply them consistently. - Work with HR Business Partners and country management teams to execute business priorities while maintaining strong governance, risk management and compliance discipline. - Partner with COEs to deploy HR solutions that attract, hire, engage, performance manage, reward and develop talent within Ingersoll Rand policy, regional governance requirements and relevant local legislation. - Monitor HR compliance, governance and KPI data across the region, producing clear reports, insights and recommendations for senior HR and business leadership. - Ensure HR policies, processes and solutions uphold principles of fairness, equality, inclusion and responsible risk management. - Manage regional HR budgets and business cases where required, ensuring resources are used effectively and proposals are commercially robust. **Basic Qualifications** - Professional HR qualification, such as CIPD or relevant country equivalent, preferred. - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law or a related discipline; postgraduate HR qualification would be advantageous. - Significant HR leadership experience across complex, multi-country environments, ideally within MEIA or similarly diverse regions. - Strong working knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, labour law governance and HR risk management. - Excellent planning, organisation, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive consistent execution through local teams. **Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements** Site based in Bangalore, India, with regional travel required across the Middle East, India and Africa as business needs require. **Key Competencies** - Proven ability to build credible, trusted relationships with senior business leaders, country HR teams and regional stakeholders. - Strong judgement in complex employee relations, legal and organisational change matters, with the ability to balance business needs, employee experience and compliance risk. - Deep understanding of Indian employment legislation and strong capability to work across additional MEIA jurisdictions through local expertise and counsel. - Experience leading HR governance, policy implementation, audits, risk reviews or compliance improvement activity across multiple sites or countries. - Ability to analyse HR data, identify trends and risks, and translate insights into practical recommendations for senior management. - Clear understanding of compensation, benefits and internal equity considerations within a regional HR operating environment. - Fluent English language skills; additional regional languages would be advantageous. **What we Offer** - 21 Days Annual Leave - Share Options after one year - Medical Insurance - Life Assurance - Annual Health Check - Car Lease Program
