Rest Assured and UI Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web applications and APIs, ensuring high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute automated test scripts for REST APIs using Rest Assured. • Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. • Validate API requests, responses, schema, authentication, and data integrity. • Automate web application testing using tools such as Selenium or Playwright. • Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and create test scenarios. • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines. • Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues to closure. • Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation. Required Skills • Strong experience in Java programming. • Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API Automation Testing. • Experience in UI Automation using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright. • Good understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, XML, and API validations. • Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks. • Knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices. • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira. • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
