Country/Region: IN Requisition ID: 38634 Work Model: Position Type: Salary Range: Location: INDIA - PUNE - BIRLASOFT OFFICE - HINJAWADI Title: Infra Support Asset Management Description: Area(s) of responsibility Asset Management (L2) Location – Bangalore Experience – 3- 5 years The Individual should be maintaining the records of hardware inventory (computing devices, telecom devices, and other infra assets) and updating records during the material movement both internal and external. Closely work with procurement team and users for new procurement, prepare monthly metrics to management for future planning. • Asset Ordering, Receiving and recording o Laptops, Desktops, Servers • Network (switches, routers, SFPs) • Voice devices • Asset Discovery (Inventory Management), verification and validation • Miscellaneous asset inventory and capacity planning o Headsets o Cables o Monitors o Keyboards o Mouse • Asset Lifecycle Management • Process definitions • - Issuing assets • Recording Assets • Re-verifying Assets • Offboarding Assets • Disposal of assets (following the security guidelines defined by Allstate) • Understand the maintenance contracts and warranty terms for all the devices. • Configuration Management • Understanding the configuration specs for devices specified • Supporting enterprise asset management tools and ITSM tools for supporting the workloads • Asset Audits • Track inventory daily and report out the asset movements summary. • Monthly audit of all the assets • - Ordered vs Issued vs Store • Report published with the details and report deltas. • Half-yearly assets validation for issued assets.
