AI Engineer Role Overview The AI Engineer focuses on developing and enhancing AI capabilities under the guidance of senior engineers and architects. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions using AWS technologies. • Build and integrate AI-powered applications leveraging AWS Bedrock and foundation models. • Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies to improve AI model performance and response quality. • Create intelligent workflows and agent-based solutions for automation and business process enhancement. • Develop scalable Python-based services, APIs, and backend components. • Design and implement RESTful APIs for integrating AI services with enterprise applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into AI driven solutions. • Conduct testing, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of AI applications. • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Stay updated with advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, cloud technologies, and AI frameworks. Technical Key Skill Sets : • AWS Bedrock fundamentals • AWS Neo, prompt engineering • Strong Python fundamentals • REST APIs and integration patterns • Basic understanding of multi agent workflows Experience • 2-5 years in Python / AI / backend development • Exposure to cloud-native development preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
