Job description

Roles and Responsibilities : • Provide application support to Finacle Core Banking applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal downtime. • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve overall efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues related to Linux servers and Oracle SQL databases. • Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and knowledge sharing within the team. Job Requirements : • 3-6 years of experience in IT Operations or Application Support role. • Strong understanding of Finacle Core Banking applications and their integration with other systems. • Proficiency in managing 24x7 production environments on Linux platforms using Oracle SQL databases. • Strong knowledge in linux/Solaris (EOD jobs shell triggered) • Oracle SQL- (store procedures pkgs,triggers, and performance finetuning) • Finacle EOD/BOD (Batch operations, job monitoring/scheduling & Exception monitoring) • Good knowledge in ETL/CRON jobs • CBS domain knowledge specially (GL interest accrual, charges collection batch, ETC) • Good to have shell scripting knowledge in banking domain applications • Strong knowledge in date rollover issues and query level debugging in oracle specially for long running queries, index issues, table locks • Extent knowledge of API’s integration and flow
