Metropolis is committed to providing high-quality, affordable services and giving people clear insights into their inner health. **Role Description** This is a full-time, on-site Laboratory Technician role based in Nashik. The Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests, including sample collection, preparation, and processing according to established protocols. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, supporting quality control procedures, documenting results in laboratory information systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role involves working closely with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate reporting, timely turnaround of test results, and continuous improvement of laboratory practices. The Laboratory Technician will also assist with inventory management, participate in internal audits, and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills and practical experience in core laboratory procedures. - Candidates should be proficient in handling and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments. - Candidates should possess knowledge of quality control processes and adherence to standardized testing protocols. - Candidates should demonstrate solid analytical skills and attention to detail in interpreting and recording results. - Candidates should have prior experience or training as laboratory technicians in diagnostic or clinical laboratory settings. - Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related life sciences field is preferred. - Understanding of laboratory safety practices, infection control, and relevant regulatory guidelines is beneficial. - Effective communication skills, ability to work in a team, and readiness to work in shift-based schedules as required. - Familiarity with laboratory information systems and basic computer skills will be an advantage.
