Job description

Role & responsibilities : 1. Renewable Energy Forecasting & data analytics 2. Real time data monitoring of Active power, wind speed, global horizontal irradiance & cloud cover for necessary Solar & Wind forecast input. 3. Preparation and uploading of week ahead, day ahead & intra-day wind & solar power forecast on respective State REMC SLDC/RLDC Portal. 4. Co-ordination with generators for plant shutdown, grid constraint and curtailments and incorporating in forecast to upload on REMC portal. 5. Co-ordination with SLDC/RLDC on matters related with Forecasting, Scheduling & Commercial settlement of RE Generators. 6. Re-conciliation of SLDC implemented schedule with QCA uploaded schedules for raising rectification request on SLDC in time bound manner. 7. Sharing rectified schedules with commercial department for onward DSM calculation on weekly/ monthly basis. Retrieving real time data from data base server for onward transportation to SLDC on weekly/ monthly basis. Preferred candidate profile : 1. Using logical thinking of data analytics domain to create macros for simplifying the work. 2. Working knowledge of Python, Advance MS Excel 3. Knowledge of State & Central Power Market regulations
