Transmission Line Design Engineer Tower Foundation

Job description

Role & responsibilities: • Design and analyze transmission line towers and foundations for 132/220/400/765 kV projects. • Perform tower spotting, route alignment, profile analysis and sag-tension calculations based on survey data. • Prepare and review tower loading, structural design calculations, foundation designs and drawings. • Use PLS-TOWER / PLS-CADD, STAAD Pro and AutoCAD for design and engineering activities. • Coordinate with survey, civil, site execution, procurement and clients for design approvals and technical clarifications. • Ensure designs comply with IS/IEC codes, utility specifications and project requirements. Preferred candidate profile : • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering • M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage. • 45 years of relevant experience in Transmission Line Design / Tower & Foundation Design. • Proficiency in PLS-TOWER / PLS-CADD, STAAD Pro and AutoCAD preferred.
