Current Salary Expectation Notice Period Education (Full Time / part Time) Key responsibilities Level: Senior IC + Design Strategist + People Lead | Experience: 6–10 years About the role Own the end-to-end design language, experience across the web platform and mobile app (everything from onboarding and policy purchase to claims and renewals). You are the design authority for the core product surface, bridging product, engineering, and data to ship experiences adhering to the design strategy/principles set by the digital team. Owns at least 2 of the categories (like health/motor/travel/home/SME) and has good knowledge of working with design systems. Key responsibilities • Lead end-to-end design for complex flows — quoting engine, KYC, claims FNOL, renewal nudges, self-service portal • Translate product and business product requirements (also IRDAI regulatory constraints) into user-friendly, compliant interfaces • Commission and conduct user research (usability tests, diary studies, intercept surveys) and synthesize into actionable briefs • Strong understanding of how data can enhance/enable design decisions and experience • Partner with engineering on detailed handoff specs; QA shipped features against design intent • Mentor 2–3 junior/mid designers; run weekly design critique sessions • Collaborate with data and growth teams to run A/B tests on key conversion points (quote → purchase, renewal CTAs) • Present design rationale to executive stakeholders clearly and confidently Must-have skills AI-enabled design process | AI tools proficiency for faster MVPs, prototyping | Figma (advanced), Design systems | Mobile-first design | User research | Interaction design | Understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility | Prototyping | Cross-functional collaboration | Leading products end-to-end till launch Good to have Insurance product familiarity | Lottie/Rive | Motion/micro-interaction design | Basic SQL for data pulls
