Scope of Role CAD, powertrain integration. Area of Responsibility • Candidate will be part of Powertrain teams as a full time CAD engineer for powertrain integration team. • Conduct package checks, clearance report generation, cross-commodity liaison. • Shouldhave a good understanding ofvehicle package guideline. • Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metaldesign guidelines and manufacturing processes is required. • Should have an ability to conduct benchmarkingstudiesand propose innovative solutions. • Good understanding of PCDS and major gateways. Knowledge / Experience 6 to 8 Years Essential: • Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of powertrain system. • Timely S/T/P releases by ensuring right information of CAD data is produced with BOM, weight management. • Understanding of commodity release & change management • Understanding of Proto & Production BOM, build support, • Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills. • Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter. • GD&T application, 3D/2D. • Problem solving, strong communication, decision making, ownership mindset. • Tools - CatiaV5/V6, Vismockup, Teamcenter, MS tools. Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
