Lead - IDCC

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Ensure seamless 24x7 monitoring of solar and wind assets through IDCC platforms • Drive data reliability, SCADA integration and real-time visibility across all sites • Lead development and automation of operational reports (DGR, JMR, MIS dashboards) • Improve plant performance through data analytics, alarm management and insights • Coordinate with site teams to resolve data gaps, communication failures and SCADA issues • Enable digital initiatives including asset onboarding, inverter-level & string-level monitoring and geo-tagging • Standardize data structures, KPIs and reporting formats across the portfolio • Support predictive analytics, performance benchmarking and loss analysis • Ensure cybersecurity and data governance compliance within digital systems • Collaborate with IT and digital teams for platform enhancements and new tool deployment Preferred candidate profile • 8-12 years of experience in renewable energy operations (solar/wind) • Hands-on experience in SCADA systems, IDCC / Remote Monitoring Platforms • Experience in digital transformation, data analytics or centralized monitoring center • Prior experience in managing multi-site renewable portfolios preferred • Technical Skills: • Strong knowledge of SCADA, data acquisition systems and communication protocols • Expertise in renewable plant performance analysis (solar & wind) • Proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Python, Power BI/Tableau preferred) will be an advantage • Understanding of plant KPIs: CUF, PR, availability, losses and forecasting • Familiarity with API integrations, cloud-based platforms, and database systems will be an advantage • Knowledge of grid operations, forecasting and scheduling (added advantage) • Leadership Competencies: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to lead cross-functional coordination between digital, IT and site teams • Effective communication and stakeholder management • Proactive decision-making and ownership mindset • Continuous improvement and innovation orientation
