Role Overview The Lead — Treasury Mid Office will own end-to-end liquidity and interest-rate risk management for Hero FinCorp, set and maintain the Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, drive capital adequacy and cost-of-funds optimization, and partner closely with the Front Office, Back Office, regulators, auditors, rating agencies and investors. The role is a critical control and analytics function bridging strategy, risk and operations within Treasury. Location- Corporate Office, DLF Downtown Team Size- Manages a small mid-office pod of 3-4 members Detailed Responsibilities M1 — Liquidity & Interest Rate Risk Management • Own end-to-end liquidity risk and interest-rate risk management for the company. • Manage cash flow forecasting, drawdown planning, monitoring of approvals and daily liquidity positioning. • Ensure compliance with Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Stress Testing, Contingency Funding Plan (CFP) and other key ALM parameters. • Create, track and monitor market-risk benchmarks for investments and treasury exposures. M2 — FTP, Cost of Funds & Capital Adequacy • Establish and maintain the Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) mechanism across Lines of Business. • Partner with business teams to work out a suitable cost of funds for each Line of Business. • Manage the various levers of Capital Adequacy to drive efficient capital utilization. • Finalize monthly / quarterly / yearly Cost of Borrowing and other associated treasury costs. • Conduct competitor analysis on borrowings and cost of funds to benchmark Hero FinCorp's position. M3 — Regulatory Reporting, Compliance & Audit • Submit RBI regulatory returns relating to Treasury and provide data inputs for other returns, including ad-hoc requirements. • Monitor accounting closures, ECB borrowing workings and annual disclosures. • Handle statutory, RBI, tax and bank auditors on all Treasury-related matters. • Track economic and regulatory changes and present detailed financial-impact assessments to management. M4 — ALCO, Stress Testing & Contingency Funding • Ensure timely preparation of ALCO presentations, closing minutes of meeting and related compliance. • Run periodic stress tests and maintain the Contingency Funding Plan. • Provide analytical support for ALCO decisions on liability mix, hedging strategy and liquidity buffer. M5 — Investor, Rating Agency & Stakeholder Management • Handle queries from investors, rating agencies and internal stakeholders. • Own investor decks, CMA, QIS and portfolio cuts shared with rating agencies. • Continuously update the Information Memorandum, treasury policies and other standardized documents. • Manage relationships and fee negotiations with Credit Rating Agencies (CRAs), investment and valuation consultants. M6 — Research, Strategy & Management Reporting • Conduct continuous research on the economy, debt markets, insurance companies and corporates to support informed funding decisions. • Drive the Annual Operating Plan — working files, presentations, manpower planning and strategy decks. • Publish updates on key macro-economic indicators to senior management. M7 — Front & Back Office Support / Mid-Office Operations • Support the Front Office in liaising with lenders (including family-office deals) — provide clarity on policies and procedures to resolve lender queries. • Liaise with the Front Office and other stakeholders on Direct Assignment (DA) and Loans-against-Eligible-Receivables (LER) transactions. • Support the Back Office in security management, limit monitoring and other operational tasks. • Perform the checker role in debt servicing (interest calculation), DA payouts and ECB payouts. • Ensure maintenance of Treasury systems and implementation of all treasury-related processes. Required Qualifications • CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA preferred. • 7–10 years of relevant experience in NBFC / Bank Treasury Mid Office or ALM function. • Prior experience in ALCO support, FTP design, regulatory reporting and rating-agency interactions strongly preferred. Technical Skills • ALM, LCR, Stress Testing & Contingency Funding Plan frameworks. • RBI Master Directions for NBFCs (Scale-Based Regulation), FEMA / ECB framework. • Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) design and capital-adequacy management. • Ind AS 109 — financial instruments, hedge accounting and impairment. • Rating-agency frameworks (CRISIL / ICRA / CARE / India Ratings) and investor disclosure standards. • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Treasury / ALM systems; working knowledge of Python and automation tools. Behavioural Competencies • Strong control mindset balanced with commercial / business partnering. • Executive communication — board, ALCO, CFO, rating agencies and investors. • Ability to manage a mid-office pod and groom talent. • High ownership, accuracy and audit-readiness. • Ability to navigate ambiguity, especially around regulatory change.
