We’re looking for a Lead/Senior Solution Architect to join our growing team in India and help design cutting-edge solutions for global clients. We are seeking an experienced Lead/Senior professional with deep specialization in AI technologies and Application Modernisation to lead the design and delivery of transformative AI solutions. This role combines technical expertise in AI architecture with practical experience in modernising legacy systems and evolving enterprise platforms. Responsibilities • Design and develop AI-driven solutions and agentic platforms that deliver measurable business value • Lead application modernisation initiatives that incorporate AI technologies to enhance and transform existing systems • Assess legacy systems and recommend modernisation strategies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Implement and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models for enterprise applications • Conduct research to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI technologies and modernisation patterns • Design migration pathways from monolithic to microservices, cloud-native, or AI-enabled architectures • Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions with existing systems and platforms • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to present solutions and gather feedback Requirements • 14+ years of general IT experience, including proven experience as a Solution Architect, particularly in AI technologies and application modernisation • Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models in production environments • Demonstrated expertise in application modernisation, including legacy system assessment, refactoring strategies, and monolith-to-microservices transformation • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Strong research skills to stay abreast of the latest AI trends, modernisation patterns, and technologies • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher Nice to have • Experience with other AI and machine learning frameworks and tools • Previous experience in developing agentic platforms • Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP) • Background in cloud migration and cloud-native architecture design • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies We offer • Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies • Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications • Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms • Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons • Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions • Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects • Focused individual development • Benefit package: • Health benefits • Retirement benefits • Paid time off • Flexible benefits • Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.)
