Job Description Lead Software Engineer (CU/L3) Job Location: Bangalore Location Flexibility: Primary Location Only Req Id: 11460 Posting Start Date: 8/19/26 Lead Software Engineer Responsibilities: Lead design and development of 5G features in CU domain in RAN product Develop and maintain the CU protocol stack components . Drive technical discussions, provide mentorship to junior engineers and ensure software quality through code reviews and design validation. Participate in feature planning, design analysis , coding and system level debugging Requirements: Strong hands-on experience in development and design of RAN product /features in CU . Hands-on experience in one or more of RRC, RRM, OAM,PDCP,NG-AP,X2AP,XnAP, F1AP, YANG, Netconf modelsKnowledge on RAN, oRAN, dis-aggregated RAN architecture, CU software, CU OAM, virtualization technologies. Strong understanding of 3gpp specificationsGood knowledge on ORAN interfaces, Data path design & implementation Design and implementation experience on SA, NSA and EN-DC, CA features C/C++, Software design, developmentExposure to AI tools and adoption of AI driven developmentHands on experience on different test tools, simulators- should be able to script test cases using various scripts. Excellent skills in problem solving, leading technical task forces, design workshops, communication, co-ordination, requirements management. Authoring design documents/ grooming scrum user stories/BL items. Customer issues analysis using various logs, such as, development/Wireshark logs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, mentoring to other engineers in team. Candidates with B. Tech./ M.
