The company maintains a strong presence in its markets through a robust network of Financial Consultants and a focus on customer-centric solutions. **Role Description** The Life Planner role is a full-time hybrid position based in Mumbai, with some flexibility for work from home. The Life Planner will meet and engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial goals and protection needs, and recommend suitable life insurance and related solutions from HDFC Life’s portfolio. Typical responsibilities include explaining product features and riders, preparing customized proposals, completing application and documentation processes, and supporting customers throughout the policy lifecycle. The role also involves driving sales targets through relationship-building, lead generation, and participation in marketing and outreach activities. The Life Planner will collaborate with branch teams and Financial Consultants, maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and company guidelines, and provide ongoing service to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention. **Qualifications** - Insurance domain knowledge, including life insurance concepts and familiarity with general insurance. - Sales skills focused on consultative selling, target achievement, and customer relationship management. - Marketing and basic promotional skills to support local campaigns, lead generation, and brand visibility. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and ethically. - Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, time management, and use of digital tools for remote collaboration. - Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or advisory roles is an advantage. - Minimum educational qualification typically at the graduate level; relevant certifications in insurance or finance are beneficial. - Commitment to regulatory compliance, high professional integrity, and a customer-first approach.
