Manager - Analytics Role Overview DTDC Express Limited is seeking a Manager - Analytics to drive data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics, business intelligence, and stakeholder collaboration. The role involves working closely with business teams to identify opportunities, develop analytical solutions, generate actionable insights, and support strategic initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities Strategic Analytics & Business Problem Solving • Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into analytical solutions. • Identify business problems, formulate hypotheses, and perform data analysis to generate actionable insights. • Support strategic projects through data-driven recommendations and performance tracking. Advanced Analytics & Modeling • Develop predictive models, forecasting solutions, and statistical analyses to support business decisions. • Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. • Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations. Data Management & Governance • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy through robust validation processes. • Support data extraction, transformation, and preparation activities for analytical use cases. • Monitor key metrics and identify anomalies through automated reporting frameworks. Data Visualization & Business Intelligence • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Superset, or similar BI tools. • Integrate data from multiple systems to provide meaningful business insights. • Track performance against KPIs and support business reviews. Stakeholder Engagement • Collaborate with business, technology, data engineering, and cloud teams to deliver analytics solutions. • Gather requirements, communicate insights, and drive adoption of analytics across functions. • Conduct user training and support continuous improvement initiatives. Team Contribution • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability development. • Support a collaborative, innovative, and data-driven work environment. Qualifications & Skills Education • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. • Master's degree/MBA in Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, or related discipline preferred. Technical Skills • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, and Advanced Excel. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and related data services. • Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Superset, and QlikView. • Hands-on experience with data warehouses/databases such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar platforms. • Knowledge of ETL processes, predictive analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling. Experience • 3-5 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or related roles. • Experience working with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams. • Exposure to analytics project delivery and business problem-solving.
