About The Company Tata Communications Redefines Connectivity with Innovation and IntelligenceDriving the next level of intelligence powered by Cloud, Mobility, Internet of Things, Collaboration, Security, Media services and Network services, we at Tata Communications are envisaging a New World of Communications Broad outline of the Role • The role owns the design and development of solution architecture with respect to technical solution design and service design for complex solutions in the respective areas of Network/SDWAN/Cloud and security/Unified Collaboration/Mobility and IoT/other domains with the objective of increasing revenue, profitability, and market competitive. This is a tactical role which defines the direction of new solutions, processes, standards based upon business strategy or customer need, with a significant mid-term impact on business unit overall results. Minimum Qualifications & Experience • Bachelors degree in engineering; 5-8 Years relevant experience Other Knowledge & Skills • Ability to translate customer and business requirements into technical solutions. • Understanding on Service Provider market, Enterprise Architecture, business concepts, processes, and requirements • Experience in creating HLD and LLD • Developing creative, logical solutions and assisting in the presentation of findings and recommendations to clients • Industry domain knowledge of key technology and industry trends • Experience of delivering consulting assignments for customers in design/architecture area Strong Expertise In • Submarine cable systems • Optical transport and DWDM technologies • Carrier Ethernet services • Global IP Transit and Internet services • Internet ecosystem and peering • Global Internet routing • Private IP VPN solutions • MPLS Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN services • International network architectures • Carrier interconnect solutions • SIP signalling and Voice routing. • Service Provider Channel to Enterprise: Experience designing and positioning SD-WAN, SASE, cloud connectivity, managed WAN, multi-cloud networking, secure remote access, and hybrid network solutions. • Cloud Solutions: Working knowledge of cloud services and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, DBaaS, cloud-native solutions, identity and secrets management, and deployment/connectivity models across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. • Security Solutions: Strong understanding of managed security services, DDoS protection, firewalls, SASE, secure web gateways, cloud security, zero-trust architectures, and threat prevention and detection. Particular emphasis is placed on DDoS solution design and customer-facing engagements. • Unified Communications: Knowledge of cloud voice, SIP trunking, UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, Voice AI, contact center solutions, and enterprise collaboration platforms. • Mobility & Industry Solutions: Familiarity with IoT, fleet and vehicle management, smart industry/Industry 5.0 use cases, campus and LAN networking, and digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a technical expert on solutions design, development, and implementation requirements to address business needs. Analyse the functionality and constraints of recommended solution across multiple systems or platforms or applications. • Scan the technology requirements of market, participate in product development activities, represent in customer or marketing forums to increase brand awareness. • Ensure compatibility, interoperability, stability, and usability of solution architecture. • Design and deliver complex solutions as per customer requirements. Work with various stakeholders including sales team, products team, engineering team to jointly assess customer requirements. • Support the Product team through the product development lifecycle and provide inputs on product features from a business requirements or customer perspective. • Work with clients, internal stakeholders to provide integrated solution architecture across multiple products to meet the client requirements. Provide an expertise to internal teams and or or external vendors and partners to design complex solutions and ensure effective delivery of the same. • Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts. Proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices. • Identify, communicate, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Decisions throughout complete lifecycle (Pre-sales, Delivery, Support) • The role may be an individual contributor or may lead a small team.
