The Senior Software Engineer, SAP Quality Management should have strong experience supporting and delivering SAP QM capabilities in an SAP S/4HANA environment, with working knowledge of manufacturing integration points across PP/PI, MM, IM, WM/EWM, MES, and LIMS. This role focuses on quality inspection processes, quality notifications, batch and material quality controls, master data, regulated validation expectations, and operational support in an FDA and GxP environment. Responsibilities • Design, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA Quality Management solutions across inspection planning, inspection execution, results recording, usage decisions, quality notifications, batch release, and quality certificate processes. • Own end-to-end delivery across requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, validation support, and operational excellence. • Provide scalable and compliant SAP QM solutions aligned with business and regulatory expectations. • Partners with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Laboratory, and Enterprise Platform teams to deliver integrated quality processes. • Support integrations with MES, LIMS, Batch Release Hub, BTP/BIAP, and other enterprise platforms. • Ensure seamless execution of quality processes across manufacturing, inventory, warehouse, and laboratory systems. • Support digital quality transformation initiatives leveraging SAP S/4HANA and cloud technologies. • Apply AI, GenAI, automation, process mining, reporting, and analytics to improve operational efficiency, accelerate documentation, strengthen quality compliance, and reduce manual effort across SAP QM processes. • Identify and support AI-enabled use cases including quality anomaly detection, proactive incident prevention, automated root cause analysis, intelligent incident resolution, quality trend analytics, and process mining insights. • Use AI/GenAI responsibly in regulated environments to support ITQS, ITQA, data integrity, and validation expectations while aligning with IT quality systems and validation requirements, including documentation, test script preparation, validation evidence reviews, audit-readiness checks, and knowledge management. • Contribute to enterprise modernization initiatives involving SAP RISE, BTP/BIAP, and digital manufacturing capabilities. • Support FDA, GxP, ITQS, and ITQA compliant solution delivery, documentation, and operations. • Produce and maintain GxP documentation including SDLC deliverables, validation plans, requirements traceability, test scripts, testing evidence, deviations, approvals, and audit-ready records in alignment with ITQS and ITQA expectations. • Ensure quality processes and system changes meet regulatory, validation, inspection readiness, and compliance requirements. • Build strong relationships with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Validation, Enterprise Platform, IT Business Partners, and external partners. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote adoption of emerging technologies. • Lead stakeholder communications and influence cross-functional decision making. • Mentor team members and contribute to organizational capability development. What Youll Bring • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. • 5-7+ years of SAP QM experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments. • Strong experience in Inspection Management, Quality Notifications, Batch Management, Quality Master Data, and Quality Certificates. • Experience supporting FDA-regulated and GxP-compliant environments, including ITQS/ITQA documentation, validation evidence, traceability, change control, and audit readiness. • Knowledge of SAP QM integration with PP/PI, MM, IM, WM/EWM, MES, and LIMS. • Experience supporting SDLC, validation, testing, deployment, and operational support activities. • Ability to apply AI, GenAI, automation, analytics, and process mining to improve SAP QM delivery, documentation quality, incident prevention, testing efficiency, and compliance outcomes. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills. • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
