**Role Overview** - **Position Title:** Associate Manager / Manager - **Experience Range:** 12 to 18 Years - **Project Types:** Greenfield (from scratch) and Brownfield (expansions/modifications in active plants) - **Industry Focus:** Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) / Bulk Drug Manufacturing **Key Responsibilities** - **Project Execution:** Lead end-to-end civil, structural, and architectural works for API manufacturing blocks, solvent storage yards (PESO guidelines), utility buildings, and warehouses. - **Greenfield vs. Brownfield Strategy:** Manage ground-up land development, grading, and heavy foundations for Greenfield sites; direct tie-ins, shutdowns, and structural retrofitting safely inside operational Brownfield plants. - **Regulatory & Quality Compliance:** Ensure all civil/structural designs and site execution align with cGMP, USFDA, and local statutory/factory norms. - **Cross-Functional Coordination:** Coordinate smoothly with process engineering, HVAC, piping, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), and validation teams. - **Cost & Vendor Management:** Control project scheduling (MS Project / Primavera), BOQ preparation, contractor billing verification, and budget optimization. **Required Qualifications & Skills** - **Education:** Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Project Management or Construction Management is a plus). - **Technical Software:** Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM tools. - **Domain Knowledge:** Deep understanding of heavy equipment foundations, corrosion-resistant flooring for pharma, cleanroom partitioning interfaces, and IS Codes. - **Soft Skills:** Strong vendor negotiation, risk management, and leadership capabilities.
