Job Title: Manager - QA (Lab) Location: Chennai Office Reports to (Position): Head - QA Department/Function: Quality Assurance Purpose of the Job: Responsible for ensuring testing and releasing of incoming raw materials and in-process materials and release to production. Manage testing equipment's AMC and maintenance, manage calibration of lab equipment's and implementation of MSA for lab equipment's, develop/maintain standard test methods, and manage laboratory team members. Major Responsibilities: 1. Ensure testing and releasing of incoming raw materials and in-process materials testing as per standards. 2. Management of AMC for testing equipment's and maintenance of its breakdown. 3. Organise for safe working environment in laboratory. 4. Ensuring internal calibration of lab equipment's. 5. Conduct MSA study for measuring equipment's. 6. Provide adequate training on test methods and enhance knowledge. 7. Establish and maintain 5S in laboratory. 8. Promoting TQM practices in laboratory. 9. Ensuring OHS training adherence. Knowledge (Technical / Functional) • Knowledge on standard test methods. • Test equipment's. • Raw materials and its testing. • Quality Management Systems. • Rubber materials / processing / vulcanizing. • Awareness of POSH Act. Relevant Experience: 12 - 15 Years Education Qualification(s): B.Tech., / M.Sc. in (Polymer Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry/ Physics)
