Job Title: Group Manager - Electrical Location: Limda Reports to (Position): Head Department/Function: Engineering Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line): Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line): Number of Outsourced Reports: Purpose of the Job: Equipment Upkeep & Plant Electrical Maintenance activities Power Efficiency, Conservation and Power Cost Control of Inventory & Maintenance Cost Safety and Statutory compliances, of plant and machinery Capex planning, execution and realization Major Responsibilities: • Availability of plant equipment for regular production • To plan annual budget and comply • Energy efficiency and Energy Cost • Maintenance Cost • Spares Inventory • Capex requirements • To plan and deploy employee development / participation for individual and overall improvement • Ensures discipline, safety standards, Housekeeping being maintained and communicate to concern in case deviation and follow the specified procedure for the same • To be responsible for ensuring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) related aspects in the section should act as a respondent to all EHS related matters of the section. • Take ownership in case of any emergency / disaster as per the Emergency Preparedness Plan / Disaster Mgt. Plan. • To be responsible for all safety related aspect of the process & machine with regards to Electrical and Process related hazards. Skills: Knowledge (Technical / Functional) Commercial Acumen Knowledge of plant and Utility Equipment Maintenance Basic engineering knowledge with core technical competency of process and utility area Equipment Assemblies, Critical spares, Performance Measures Awareness on work basic safety systems Awareness on applicable legal requirements Knowledge of integrated management systems requirements including related aspects impact & hazard (Control Plan (QE&OHS)) Leadership skills, People Management skills, Communication and Presentation skills, Analytical ability and Problem Solving skills, Relevant Experience: 15-18 years.
