Trusted by over 48,000 businesses, Delhivery combines advanced platforms like its AI-powered TransportOne TMS with robust physical operations to deliver reliable, scalable logistics services. **Role Description** The Manager – Security is a full-time, on-site role based in Punjab, India, responsible for overseeing physical security and loss prevention across Delhivery facilities and operations in the region. This role involves developing and implementing security policies and procedures, supervising security staff, and coordinating with local management to safeguard people, assets, vehicles, and shipments. The Manager – Security will conduct regular risk assessments, monitor security systems, investigate incidents, and maintain compliance with company standards and local regulations. The role also requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies to manage emergency responses, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and continuously improve security practices aligned with Delhivery’s fast-paced logistics environment. **Qualifications** - Strong background in security management, risk assessment, and incident response within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or comparable operations. - Experience in physical security planning, access control, surveillance systems (CCTV), and perimeter protection for large facilities. - Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance requirements, including local laws, audit processes, and standard operating procedures. - Proven people management skills, including supervising security teams, vendor coordination, and stakeholder communication. - Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and use technology platforms or dashboards to monitor security metrics and trends. - Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and crisis management skills, with the ability to operate under time-sensitive and high-pressure situations. - Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in security management, criminology, business administration, or a related field; professional certifications in security or safety are an advantage. - Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain security in India, particularly in high-volume operations, is highly beneficial.
