Job Summary We are seeking an experienced professional with 812 years of experience in the Generic Pharmaceutical Industry to support the identification, evaluation, and selection of pure generic and value-added/complex generic products for the Hetero product pipeline. The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial, technical, and analytical capabilities to drive portfolio strategy through market assessment, forecasting, and investment planning. Key Responsibilities Identify, screen, evaluate, and prioritize pure generic and value-added/complex generic products for inclusion in the product pipeline. Conduct comprehensive market assessments, competitive intelligence, and opportunity analysis using industry databases. Perform commercial evaluations including market sizing, demand forecasting, revenue projections, and business case development. Develop sales forecasts, financial models, investment budgets, and profitability assessments for proposed pipeline products. Assess product feasibility by considering market dynamics, technical complexity, regulatory pathways, intellectual property landscape, and manufacturing capabilities. Collaborate closely with RD, Business Development, Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property, Commercial, and Manufacturing teams during portfolio selection and prioritization. Support portfolio governance by preparing presentations, pipeline reviews, and strategic recommendations for senior management. Utilize IQVIA sales databases and advanced Microsoft Excel models for market analysis, forecasting, and decision-making. Monitor competitor pipelines, patent expiries, market trends, and emerging opportunities in the global generic pharmaceutical landscape. Qualifications Master's degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm), Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. An MBA will be an added advantage. Experience 812 years of relevant experience in the Generic Pharmaceutical Industry. Proven experience in screening and selecting pure generic and value-added/complex generic products for product pipeline development. Strong exposure to portfolio evaluation, commercial assessment, and product strategy. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in either of the following areas will be preferred: Formulation development of sterile injectable products.
