Mechanical Design Lead

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities : • Lead the mechanical design team to develop innovative solutions for plastic molded parts using Creo software. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify design requirements and create detailed designs, drawings, and specifications. • Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis to optimize part performance and reduce costs. • Develop RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports to troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing defects. Job Requirements : • 8-12 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the auto components industry. • Proficiency in Creo software for designing complex plastic molded parts. • Strong understanding of injection moulding processes and materials used in the industry. • Experience with DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis) methodology.
