Role: Native iOS Technical Lead | Swift | SwiftUI Experience: 10+ Years Relevant iOS Experience: 7+ Years Locations: Chennai / Bengaluru Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description We are looking for an experienced Native iOS Technical Lead to lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance iOS applications. The successful candidate will define the technical direction, establish mobile engineering best practices, mentor development teams, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade mobile solutions. Key Responsibilities • Define and drive the overall architecture of native iOS applications. • Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and maintainable mobile applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit. • Establish coding standards, design patterns, and mobile engineering best practices. • Architect secure and high-performance mobile solutions. • Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, backend development teams, and enterprise architects. • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments. • Drive automation, testing strategies, release management, and continuous improvement. • Mentor and guide iOS developers and technical leads. • Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, performance, and Apple App Store guidelines. • Support large-scale digital commerce and retail applications with a focus on scalability and performance Required Skills and Experience • 10+ years of overall software development experience. • At least 7 years of hands-on native iOS development experience using Swift. • Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and iOS SDKs. • Strong knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, and Modular Architecture. • Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, web services, and third-party integrations. • Proficiency in unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing frameworks. • Strong understanding of mobile application security, encryption, and secure data storage. • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins. • Expertise in application performance optimisation, memory management, debugging, and crash analysis. • Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. • Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development efficiency, automation, and innovation across the software development lifecycle. Preferred Candidate Profile • Strong hands-on technical leadership and solution architecture experience. • Ability to guide engineering teams and influence technical decisions. • Experience developing enterprise-scale, customer-facing iOS applications. • Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to balance hands-on development with architecture and team leadership responsibilities.
